Wonder of Christmas – Joy to the World

Happy Thanksgiving!  Hoping that your day has been fun and that you and your family and friends were able to create some fine memories. Over at our house, it is pretty quiet.  Just the two of us…the dinner is cooking and I had some time to play in the Studio this afternoon. Over at PaperContinue reading “Wonder of Christmas – Joy to the World”

Daisy Garden Spotlight – Thank You

Hey, Welcome back! The Facebook Stampin’ Through the Catalog Team’s Challenge stamp set choice for today is the fabulous Daisy Garden Background stamp.  There is so much you can do with it. I kept it simple matching it up with the Hand Stamped Sentiment Sketch Challenge (#371) that influenced me to use the Spotlight TechniqueContinue reading “Daisy Garden Spotlight – Thank You”

Kind People – Slim Line Card

I wanted to create a card for the current Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge (#617) and I thought the layout was a good candidate for a Slim Line card and that is the current Make My Monday Challenge (#154) requirement. Additionally, there were a few other challenges that influenced what I ultimately made.  Color Choice: ColorContinue reading “Kind People – Slim Line Card”

Hello Color – Happy Birthday

The Color Combination Challenge over at The Color Hues (#22) is one of my all-time favorites.  Who can resist the freshness of Lime Green (closest color match Granny Apple Green) and Aqua (closest color matches Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay). The retired stamp set, Hello Color was just perfect for this challenge.  A Hippy DippyContinue reading “Hello Color – Happy Birthday”

Blossoms in Bloom – Penned Flowers Birthday

Over at the Color Hue challenge site, the colors are Black and Aqua.  Such a striking combination! I felt that the Saturday Sketch (#665) would work nicely for the idea that popped in to my head. I pulled out a piece of retired Tempting Turquoise cardstock and the matching Stampin’ Write Marker for this project. Continue reading “Blossoms in Bloom – Penned Flowers Birthday”

Plane & Simple – Just WOW and have a Happy Day!

I think I will be happy when Father’s Day passes.  June certainly has been the month for masculine card challenges.  This, however, has created an opportunity to do a deep dive in to my retired stamp set stash.  Masculine sets are keepers in my world! The color challenge over at The Color Hue (#19) thisContinue reading “Plane & Simple – Just WOW and have a Happy Day!”
