Everlasting Thanks
Welcome back! A brand-new week…
Today’s challenge combination: CAS Colours & Sketches (#594) with lovely palette; AAA Cards (#324) to follow the lead of Helen with a CASE (copy and selectively edit); Addicted to Stamps & More (#526) to make my mark with coloring techniques and sharing with Color Hues (#141) for their purple and green tones.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Peaceful Pine cardstock.
- Card Front: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
- Stencil: (5¼” x 4”) Copy Paper die-cut with the (3¼” x 2”) Arch die from the Everyday Arches Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product.
- With the Stencil in place, Bubble Bath and Highland Heather inks were added with Blending Brushes to create the background.
- The Summer Floral image from the Everlasting Thanks stamp set was then stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Colors chosen: Light and Dark Highland Heather, Light Bubble Bath and Light Peaceful Pine.
- Highlights were added with the White Gel Pen.
- The sentiment, endlessly grateful, from the same stamp set was stamped with Peaceful Pine ink.
Add card front to card base and we are done!
