Time again for the Hand Stamped Sentiments (#498) Design Team Challenge. This round, we have a wonderful Autumn Mood Board.
I opted for the glow of copper and gold with a clean and simple Leaf theme.
My design was influenced by Christmas (or Not) Bingo (#21) selecting letter “O” Copper, Texture and Free – for Leaves; PICK 3 (#2609) Leaves, Brown and Vintage (Mid-Century Retro); and CAS on Friday (#343) for their Autumn theme.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Early Espresso cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic Beige cardstock.
- The sentiment, Thank You, from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat set with Copper Embossing Powder.
- The edge was dry-embossed with the retired Glass Embossing Folder for a retro textured element.
- Textured Background: (2” x 4”) Copper Metallic Effects Specialty Paper die-cut with the Hatch Grid die from the new Notes of Collage Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product available in November.
- Leaves: (2¾” x 4¼’) Early Espresso cardstock.
- The Leaf image from the Notes of Collage stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder and die-cut with the coordinating die, again from the Notes of Collage Dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base for a clean and simple styling.
