Feathered Get Well

Hi! Design Team Time for Tic Tac Toe (#299).  Eight possibilities and so much choice.  I selected the center line down: Coordinated Envelope, Gems, and Monochromatic.

Choosing the Color Hue (#138) suggested Navy and Teal for the monochromatic tones and the Double D (#260805) Feather theme.

I opted for a clean and simple card for CAS on Friday (#340) for Get Well and sharing with Simply Clean & Simple (#2608) for their Nature theme.

Here is the result:

FOUR FEATHERS – FRIENDLY FOLIAGE – TTTC299 – TCH138 – DD260805 – COS340 – SCAS2608

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Night of Navy cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with my favorite retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Accent Mat: (2⅝” x 4⅛”) Pretty Peacock cardstock.
  • Focal Panel: (2½” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The greeting, Get Well Soon from the recently retired Friendly Foliage stamp set was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and then also dry-embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Focal Image – Feathers: Basic White cardstock scraps and Basic White Envelope.
    • Two Feather images from the retired Four Feathers stamp set were stamped.  Long Feather – Night of Navy ink and Short Feather – Pretty Peacock ink.
    • The Feathers were then fussy-cut with Detail Scissors, currently an On-Line Exclusive Product.
  • Colored Gems: Rhinestone Basic Jewels colored with the Night of Navy and Pretty Peacock Dark Stampin’ Blends Markers.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  The Feathers were popped up with Dimensionals and colored Gems were scattered about to complete the card.

A gender-neutral, nice Get Well card and matching envelope.

Looking forward to seeing which column or row you choose from the Tic Tac Toe Board for your creation.
