Scalloped Blooms – Thank You

Welcome back!  Here’s to hoping you find some time to be creative this weekend…

A quick card.  New products arrived and I had to have a play.  My design was influenced by If You Give A Crafter a Cookie (#217) for the soft-toned Garden inspiration photo; Love Those Pretty Papers (#2606) with a featured twist of Pastel tones; and Color Hues (#134) with Pink and Turquoise tones.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Bubble Bath cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder, an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Accent Mats: (2” x 5”) and (2½” x 3¾”) Lost Lagoon cardstock.
• Patterned Papers: Everyday Essentials Mix & Match Designer Series Paper pack. Lost Lagoon Striped pattern (1¾” x 4¾”) and Multi-Colored Floral pattern (2¼” x 3½”).
• Sentiment Accent Mat: Bubble Bath cardstock scrap die-cut with the (2⅛”) Scallop die from the Scallop Blooms Dies set.
• Sentiment Circle: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Thank You, from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink and then die-cut with the (1¾”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base, and the Sentiment Scallop was popped up with Dimensionals.

Lots of nice texture reflecting a pretty Garden theme.  Thank you cards are always handy to have…
