Painted Florals – Hello

Got any weekend plans?  Here, in town, we have a huge Art Show – Artisphere.  This is a favorite of ours and we will be going.

Getting ahead on a few challenges to free up my day…

Playing with the Paper Craft Crew (#517) Tic Tac Toe Board using the colors suggested by Color Hues (#63) with the current sketch from TGIF (#420).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.
• Left Side Panel: (3” x 3”) Melon Mambo Painted Canvas patterned piece of paper from the retired Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper pack.
• Right Side Panel: (1¼” x 3”) Pool Party Painted Canvas patterned piece of paper, also from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper pack.
• Flower Shape – Flowers: Melon Mambo and Coastal Cabana colored Flowers fussy cut with Paper Snips from Floral patterned papers, also from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper pack.
• Sentiment Banner: (¾” x 2½”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The word, Hello, was created using the Letters from the retired Make a Difference stamp set.
  • The Banner was hand-flagged with Paper Snips and dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  Both the Flowers and the Banner were popped up with Dimensionals.  Three Coastal Cabana Rhinestones from the retired Waves Basic Jewels collection were added to the Banner.

A pretty greeting card suitable for any occasion.
