Bouquet of Thanks

Welcome back!  Hope all is well in your corner of the world.

Catching up with Freshly Made Sketches (#579) and Color Hues (#61).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Crumb Cake cardstock.
• Accent Panel: (5⅛” x 3⅞”) retired Peach Parfait cardstock from my stash bin.
  • The Fancy Oval Frame, from the Framed Florets Dies set was die-cut from the center of the panel.
• Background Panel: (5” x 3¾”) Crumb Cake cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
• Focal Image – Oval Inset: (4½” x 3½”) Crumb Cake cardstock.
  • The Flowers from the Bouquet of Thanks stamp was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder.
  • Using a Craft Brush, Bleach was applied to the Flowers and Leaves.  Crumb Cake cardstock bleaches out to a Very Vanilla look.
  • I used my Heat Tool to hasten the drying of the Bleach.
  • Once dry, color was added back.  Calypso Coral and Mossy Meadow inks were applied with the Fine-Tipped Water Painter Brush direct from ink pad lid.
  • Again, once dry, the image was die-cut with the same Framed Florets Die.
• Accent Label: (1⅞” x ¾”) Mossy Meadow cardstock scrap.
• Sentiment Label: (1¾” x ⅝”) Peach Parfait cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Thank You, from the Nature’s Harvest stamp set was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the base sketch.  A few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added for a bit of bling.

Such a pretty stamp, Bouquet of Thanks.  I was happy to bring it out again to use.  You can never have enough Thank You cards.
