One last card for today…
The Challenges: Four Seasons (April) for the inspiration; Retro Rubber (#203) for the theme; Atlantic Hearts (#518) for the sketch; and Colorful Options (April) for the pastel color tone.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Blushing Bride cardstock.
- Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Blushing Bride Watercolor Striped patterned piece of paper from the retired Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper pack.
- The sentiment, Happy Birthday, from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set (circa 2018) was stamped with Basic Gray ink.
- Shape – Oval Frame: (3” x 4”) Mint Macaron cardstock die-cut with the Radiating Stitched Oval Frame die from the Framed Florets Dies set.
- Focal Image – Oval Inset: (3” x 4”) Shimmery White cardstock.
- The Newspaper Wrapped Tulip image from the retired Love is Kindness stamp set (circa 2015) was stamped with Basic Gray ink.
- The image was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Flowers – retired Dark Pink Pirouette and Light Flirty Flamingo and Stems – Dark Mint Macaron and Light Granny Apple Green.
- The image was die-cut with one of the Oval dies from the retired Layering Oval Dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. A Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon Bow was added at the bottom of the frame instead of the top.
One of my favorite stamps, Love is Kindness, for the Tulip image. Makes such a lovely card for any occasion in any color.

Oh so sweet, I love tulips and so I am automatically drawn to your card, but in addition to the tulips, the detail on your oval die cut is great it takes the card from simple to elevated, so pretty! Thanks for playing along with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (AHSC).
