Honeybee Blooms – My Cup of Tea

Squeaking in another card this afternoon. A very clean and simple take for the Atlantic Hearts (#511) Sketch and choosing the colors from the Color Hues (#57) challenge.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Case Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Soft Succulent cardstock.
• Background: (4” x 5¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
  • Using the Simply Scored® Scoring Tool and the retired Diagonal Scoring Plate, the panel was embossed.
  • Left Side (1¾” x 5¼) Diagonally and Center (½” x 5¼”) Vertically to represent the blue rectangle and the red/white stripe strip.
• Accent Mat: (1⅝” x 3⅝”) Calypso Coral cardstock
• Focal Panel: (1½” x 3½”) Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, I miss you, from the Cup of Tea stamp set was stamped with Calypso Coral ink.
• Focal Image – Flowers: Shimmery White cardstock scrap.
  • Using the Floral dies from the Honeybee Blooms Dies set, the two floral stalks were die-cut.
  • The Flowers were colored with the Light Calypso Coral and Light Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blend Markers.
  • Additional details were added with the Pumpkin Pie and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Markers.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  A sweet delicate little card…
