Amazing Silhouettes – Wonderful Butterfly

Playing in the Studio today. I have a very quick and easy card for you.

I started with the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge (#518).

I added the colors from the Color Hues Challenge (#32) and was inspired by the Cue Word: Renew from the CASology Challenge (#399)

Here is the result:

AMAZING SILHOETTES – HONEYBEE HOME – FMS518 – TCH32 – CASology399

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The Butterfly image from the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set was stamped with Highland Heather ink.
    • The sentiment, Stay Wonderful, from the Honeybee Home stamp set was stamped with Poppy Parade ink.

Keeping the design clean and simple, the focal image panel was popped up onto the card base with Dimensionals.

A really quick card, just stamps, ink and paper. So simple.

The cycle of life…just as the caterpillar transforms into the butterfly, the process of change and growth is a constant renewal.

For someone special…through it all, you, my friend, have always been wonderful!

Hoping you like this card.  Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.   Cheers,  Jolanda!
