Happy Hello

Welcome back!  A rainy Saturday…perfect for spending some time in the Studio.

Today’s challenge combination: Little Red Wagon (#879) to add Stitching; Facebook’s Colour INKspiration (#218) for the Palette; CAS Colours & Sketches (#595) for the Layout; and Addicted to CAS (#318) for the word: Happy.

Here is the result:

PLAYFUL PATTERNS – FABULOUS SAYINGS – LRW879 = CI218 – CC&S595 – ATCAS318

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Real Red cardstock.
  • Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The Stitched Rectangle image from the Playful Patterns stamp set was stamped on the diagonal with Real Red ink.
    • Shapes – Circles: Real Red, Basic Black and Pecan Pie Two-Tone cardstock scraps die-cut with the (1⅝”), (1¼”) and (¾”) Stitched Circle dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies set, currently available as an On-Line Exclusive product.
    • The words, Happy & Hello, from the Fabulous Sayings stamp set, the Exclusive Product of the Month for January 2026, were stamped with Versamark ink and heat set with Embossing Powder.  Happy with White and Hello with Black.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Sentiment Circle – Happy was popped up with Dimensionals.

A nice clean and simple hello card.
