Tile Garden – Good Thing

Welcome back! Happy Sunday. Hoping that you find some time to be creative today…

Today’s card is loosely based on the Layout from Freshly Made Sketches (#757), the Palette from Creative Colours (#261) and the Floral theme from Beautiful Blossoms (#45).

Here is the result:

TILE GARDEN – FMS757 – CCC261 – BBC045

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Cajun Craze cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock
  • Support Panel: (3½” x 4½”) Highland Heather cardstock dry-embossed with the Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder, still available but now on the Last Chance List.
  • Accent Mats: (2” x 3¾”) Darling Duckling cardstock and Darling Duckling Grid patterned piece of paper from my scrap bin.
  • Focal Panel: (2¾” x 3¾”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The sentiment, Wishing you every good thing, from the Tile Garden stamp set was stamped with Cajun Craze ink as were the Floral Stems.
  • The Blossom images and Center Dot image, from the same stamp set were stamped with Highland Heather ink and Darling Duckling ink.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  A few retired Gold Glitter Enamel Dots were added to complete the card.

A pretty little floral greeting card.
