Additionally, I am sharing with Addicted to Stamps & More (#525) for their Dies option.

Here is the result:

SCALLOPED BLOOMS – TTTC301 – SUOC409 – LTPP2609 – CC220 – COC2609 – ATSM525

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pecan Pie cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Light Woodgrain patterned piece of paper from the Wood Grain Wonders Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Vertical Strips: (1¼” x 12”) Cajun Craze Floral / Pecan Pie Plaid patterned paper from the Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper pack cut to (5¼”) overlapped with the reverse side Plaid showing (¾”).
  • Decoration – Leaves: (3” x 4¼”) Cajun Craze cardstock die-cut with the Leaf die from the Nature’s Symphony Dies set.
  • Sentiment: (2” x 2”) Basic Beige cardstock.
  • The greeting, Thank You, from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set was stamped with Pecan Pie ink and then die-cut with the (1⅝”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
    • Using a Sponge Dauber, the edge was colored with Pecan Pie ink.
  • Linen Twine: (9”) was folded in half and adhered with scotch taped.
  • Metal Embellishment: Antique Bronze Adhesive Backed (retired) Gems were added to the card.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  The Sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals.

A lovely Thank you card.
