Berry Botanical Butterflies – Birthday Wishes

Design Team Time for the Atlantic Hearts (#685) Sketch.

My design choices were influenced by Seize The Birthday (#327) and Krafty Chicks (#823) for the theme along with Just Us Girls (#826) and Triple B (#2606) for the addition of Butterflies.

and selecting the Just Add Ink (#787) elements of Patterned Paper(s) and Twine.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Fresh Freesia Grid patterned piece of Vellum from the Exclusive May 2026 Product of the Month, Berry Botanical Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
  • The center of the Panel was die-cut with the (3⅞” x 2⅝”) Stitched Arch die from the Everyday Arches Dies set.
• Frame: (4¼” x 3”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with both the (3⅞” x 2⅝”) and (3½” x 2¼”) Stitched Arch dies.
• Inset: (3¾” x 2½”) Floral patterned piece of Vellum, also from the same paper pack die-cut with the (3½” x 2¼”) Stitched Arch die.
• Decoration – Butterflies: Basic Black cardstock scraps.
  • The larger Butterfly from the retired Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies set and the smaller Butterflies and Bodies from the retired Beautiful Butterflies Dies set were created.
• Sentiment Banner: Peaceful Pine cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Happiest Birthday Wishes, from the Exclusive March 2026 Product of the Month, Notes of Spring stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the Stitched Banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.  Finished Size: (3” x ⅞”).

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Butterflies and the Sentiment were popped up with Dimensionals and a double White Baker’s Twine Bow was added to complete the card.

A pretty birthday card…
