Design Team Time for Facebook’s Case-ing Tuesday (#567), where we select cards from the Catalogs and remake them as we are inspired. Today’s inspiration can be found on page 36 of the May – Aug 2026 Catalog.

It is always fun to recreate a card with what you have on hand…when you don’t have the products used in the original. So, I did slip in a few retired products to make my card.
My design choices were influenced by the Paper Players (#778) Tic Tac Toe Board Line: Happy Sentiment, Patterned Paper, and Layers along with the Color Dare (#705) Palette of blue, yellow, and green.

I am also sharing this card with Love To Craft (#92) Anything Goes.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Balmy Blue cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Mini Leaf patterned piece of paper from the Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper pack.
- Frame: (4¼” x 5½”) Basic Black cardstock die-cut with both the (3¼” x 4½”) Postage Stamp die from the Perennial Postage Dies set and the (2¼” x 3½”) Stitched Rectangle die from the retired Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies set.
- Shapes: Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue and Basic White cardstocks.
- The Granny Apple Green cardstock was die-cut with the Wave Banner die from the Paradise Garden Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product and then trimmed.
- The Balmy Blue cardstock was die-cut with the (2¼” x 2⅝”) Soft-Angled Octagonal Label die from the Forever Florals Dies set, also an On-Line Exclusive product.
- On the Basic White cardstock:
- Only the word, Happy, from Fabulous Sayings stamp, the January 2026 Exclusive Product of Month Product was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- Only the word, Birthday, from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set, another On-Line Exclusive product was double stamped with Balmy Blue ink.
- The sentiment was then die-cut with the (2¾” x 1½”) Soft-Angled Octagonal Label die from the Forever Florals Dies set.
- Decoration – Flowers: Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green cardstock scraps die-cut with the Flowers and Leaf dies, also from the Forever Florals Dies set.
- Ribbon: (¼”) Daffodil Delight Organdy Ribbon (retired) cut at (7”) and (5½”).
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Granny Apple Green Wave Banner and the Balmy Blue Label Shape were popped up with Dimensionals. The Flowers were added and adorned with Rhinestone Basic Jewels. A few Daffodil Delight retired Low Profile Sparkle Dots were added to the Banner, completing the card.
Pushing me out of my comfort zone with all the layers but the colors create “Happy” for me!

I’m looking forward to seeing what you create based on the sketch.
