Eyelet Blooms – Cheery Hello

Welcome back! Hoping you are having a delightful Sunday and have found some time to be creative…

This afternoon I am playing with If You Give A Crafter a Cookie (#216) and the Freshly Made (#738) Sketch for a clean and simple card.

Here is the result:

FRAGRANT LAYERS – EYELET BLOOMS DIE – CC216 – FMS738

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Daffodil Delight cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
    • Using a Sponge Dauber, Hydrangea Hue ink, and the Mini Squares Stencil from the retired Foursquare Decorative Masks set, Thin Strips were added to mimic a blue gingham pattern.
    • The greeting, Hello, from the Fragrant Layers stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Hydrangea Hue ink.
  • Shape – Floral Rectangle: (1⅞” x 2”) Daffodil Delight cardstock die-cut with the Eyelet Blooms Die, the Exclusive Product of the Month for April 2026.
    • The petals of the sweet lemon-yellow Flowers were tipped up to showcase the texture.

Quick and easy! All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.

I love to create simple greeting cards, and Hello, is such a friendly greeting.
