Fa La La – Holiday Cheer and Christmas Greetings

A quick clean and simple holiday card for you today for: Addicted To Stamps & More (#517) incorporating the CAS On Friday (#334) Envelope theme and the Time Out (#313) Music theme.

Here is the result:

GREETINGS THINLITS DIES – ATSM517 – COS334 – TOC313

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
  • Accent Mat: (3¾” x 5”) Very Vanilla cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Envelope: (3½” x 4½”) Small Floral patterned pies of paper from the retired Garden Walk Designer Series Paper pack die-cut with the (3”) Envelope Liner die from the retired Envelope Liners Framelits Dies set.
    • The die-cut piece was folded over, and the “flap” and “sides” were trimmed with Detail Scissors.  Resultant size: (2½” x 2¼”).
  • Poinsettia: Garden Walk Designer Series Paper and Pretty Peacock cardstock scrap.
    • Using the Detail Scissors, the Poinsettia was fussy-cut from the patterned paper.  An additional “Leaf” Poinsettia was die-cut using the Poinsettia die from the retired Merriest Frames Dies set.
  • Greeting – Cheers: Poppy Parade cardstock scrap.  The word, cheers, from the retired Greeting Thinlits Dies set was die-cut.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  The Poppy Parade Poinsettia was popped up with Dimensionals and then tucked into the Envelope.

A nice little Christmas card.
