Clearly For You

Welcome back!  Happy Saturday.  Here’s hopping you have some time to be creative…

Several challenges have a similar theme, so let’s play.  The stamp set and die may be retired but the products used are all new and available in the new 2026 May – August Catalog.

Over at Make My Monday (#276) the theme is Birds; and over at Simply Clean & Simple (#2605) the theme is Things that Fly.

I am sharing this card with CAS on Friday (#333) with an Animal theme along with Critter Crazy (#110) always an Animal theme.

My design choices were influenced by Krafty Chicks (#818) this an Anything Goes theme but choosing an image that could be colored for the twist.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Peaceful Pine cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
  • The sentiment, for you, from the retired Clearly For You stamp set was stamped with Peaceful Pine ink.
• Accent Block: (2¼” x 1⅝”) Golden Glow Diamond Dot patterned piece of paper from the Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper pack.
• Focal Image – Bird: Very Vanilla card stock scrap.
  • The Vintage Bird image, also from the Clearly For you stamp set, was stamped with Basic Gray ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors Chosen: Bird – Light Hydrangea Hue; Leaves – Light Peaceful Pine; Bullrushes, Fiddleheads and Oval Frame – Light Golden Glow; Shell and Oval Inside – Light Barely Blush.
  • The Bird image was then die-cut with the (1⅝” x 1¼”) Oval die from the retired All That Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base, and the Bird was popped up with Dimensionals.

The new 2026/2028 In-Colors work so nicely with each other, don’t you think?
