Just My Type – Hello

Let’s play!!  It is Tuesday and time to create for this week’s Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#451) featuring a treat package found on page 20 of the Jan – Apr Mini Catalog.  The sketch has been altered to fit an A2 card and I flipped to the horizontal to better accommodate my design.

I selected to use the Color Hues (#82) suggestions for my card.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Tahitian Tide cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4) Parakeet Party Dashed patterned piece of paper from the 2022/2024 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Accent Mat: (4” x 2¾”) Basic White cardstock.
• Focal Image – Flowers: (3” x 2¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Floral image from the Just My Type stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with the Light Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.
• Window Panel: (3¾” x 2½”) Tahitian Tide Dashed patterned piece of paper from the same Designer Series Paper pack.
  • The Window was die-cut with the (2¼” x 1½”) Rectangle die from the Nested Essentials Dies set.
  • The Floral image was adhered under the Window opening.
  • Eyelets: Parakeet Party cardstock scrap die-cut with the Small Circles die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies set.
  • The Eyelets were adhered to the Window Panel and then matched up to the Accent Mat and small holes were punched with a (⅛”) Handheld Punch.
  • The Window Panel was adhered to Accent Mat with Dimensionals.
  • A length of Basic White Baker’s Twine was threaded through the Eyelets for decoration.
• Sentiment: (4¼” x 1”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The Type Keys – Hello image was stamped with Parakeet Party ink and then punched out with a (¾”) Circle Punch.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Type-Key Letters were also popped up with Dimensionals.

What a nice bright Spring Hello card in my favorite shades of Blue and Green.  So Fresh!
