On the Grow – Perfect Adventure

Design Team Time.  This round at Hand Stamped Sentiments (#433), we are using the colors: Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry and Flirty Flamingo or a close match if you do not use Stampin’ Up! colors.

I have to say I was struggling for inspiration.  At the moment Easter and St. Pat’s are everywhere and these colors just didn’t seem to fit.  Over at Crafter’s Café (#305) the theme is Travel so I selected a retired favorite stamp set On the Grow for my card.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Coastal Cabana cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
• Accents: Crushed Curry cardstock scrap and Coastal Cabana Dotted and Flirty Flamingo Dashed patterned pieces of paper from the 2023/2024 Brights Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Circle: Die-cut with the (2½”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • Right Accent: (3” x 4”).
  • Bottom Accent: (4” x 1¾”).
• Focal image – Scooter: Basic White cardstock die-cut with the (3½” x 2¼”) Rectangle die from the retired Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies set.
  • Both the Scooter image and the sentiment, everyday is the perfect adventure, were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The image was colored with both Stampin’ Blends Markers and retired Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers.  Colors chosen: Scooter – Light and Medium retired Coastal Cabana; Seat and Tires – Light Smoky Slate; Lights and Shadow – Light retired Soft Sky; Tulips – Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo; Posies – Medium retired Daffodil Delight; Leaves – Dark Soft Sea Foam; and Pots – Light Crumb Cake.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  The Focal image was popped up with Dimensionals.

And travelling we will go to with our snazzy little Scooter!
