Yellow Primroses – Irresistible Blooms Miss You

Welcome back!  Happy Friday…still catching up from being away. 

Colors: Paper Players (#644); Theme: The Flower Challenge (#81) and the Facebook Joy of Sets (June) for the current Atlantic Hearts (#529) Sketch.

Here is the result.

Steps: Using the products from the On-Line Exclusive Irresistible Blooms Suite.

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Lost Lagoon cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Lost Lagoon Leafy patterned piece of paper from the Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper pack.
  • A circle opening was die-cut with the (2⅛”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Circle Shape: Lost Lagoon cardstock Ring die-cut using the (2⅛”) and 2⅜”) Stitched Circle dies, from the same die set.
• Focal Image – Flowers: Lemon Lolly and Lost Lagoon cardstock.
  • The smaller Flower image and the Double Leaf image were stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • The images were die-cut with the coordinating dies from the Irresistible Blooms Dies set.
  • Using a Sponge Dauber, Lemon Lolly ink was added to the Floral Centers.
• Sentiment Label: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The truncated sentiment, Miss You, from the Happy Labels stamp set was stamped with Lost Lagoon ink and die-cut with the small Banner die, also from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Vellum Underlay: (2½” x 3”) Vellum cardstock.
  • The underside of the Vellum was stamped with the Splatter image from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set.

Putting it all together, the stamped Vellum was adhered to the backside of the Background Panel and the die-cut Circle was fitted back in.  The Circle Ring was added and the Flowers, Leaves and Sentiment were then added, completing the card.

So pretty…such friendly flowers, Primroses and yellow ones are my favorite.
