Pink Orchids – Birthday Card

Hi!  I have weekend plans…weather permitting…so I am trying to get ahead on some more challenges.

AAA Cards (#240) is celebrating nine (9) years with a Pink Birthday and Heart’s Quest (#30) is also looking for a Birthday card.  I selected the retired Varied Vases (circa 2018) and coordinating retired Vibrant Vases (circa 2019) stamp sets to play along with Retro Rubber (#207) for my elegant yet very CAS (clean and simple) card.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The greeting from Varied Vases was stamped with Melon Mambo ink.
• Accent Circle: (2½”) Melon Mambo cardstock punched out with a (2½”) Circle Punch.
• Focal Circle – Flowers in Vase: (2⅜”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Vase Outline image from Varied Vases was stamped with Melon Mambo ink.
  • The Vase Fill-In image from Vibrant Vases was stamped with Bubble Bath ink.
  • A Heart from the retired Hostess stamp set At The Pond was added to the Vase with 2^nd Generation (stamped off once) Melon Mambo ink.
  • The Vase was masked with some copy paper and the Orchid Outline image from Varied Vases was stamped with Melon Mambo ink.
  • The Orchid Fill-In image was added with Bubble Bath ink.
  • The Floral Vase was punched out with the (2⅜”) Circle Punch.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  The Flower Vase Circle was popped up with Dimensionals and three Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to the Flower Centers.

Wishing continued success to AAA Cards and that they celebrate many more years of challenges with this pretty pink floral birthday card.
