Gorgeous Garden – Hello

Had a fabulous great time in class today but it is time to get cracking on another card for a deadline due date,

Challenges: Inspired By (#238) for the flowers and the colors; Paper Craft Crew (#519) for the floral theme; and Happy Little Stampers (May) as I used Dies to make this card.

Here is the result:

GORGEOUS GARDEN DIES – GARDEN BIRDHOUSES – IB238 – PCC519 – HLS Dies May 2023

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (3¾” x 5⅛”) Lemon Lolly cardstock.
  • Floral Image: (3¾” x 5⅛”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the Floral die from the Gorgeous Garden Dies set.
  • Frame: (3¾” x 5⅛”) Lemon Lolly cardstock die-cut with both the largest Rectangle die from the Radiating Stitches Dies set and the (3” x 4⅜”) Rectangle die from the retired Stitched Rectangles Dies set.
  • Sentiment Circle: (1½”) Lemon Lolly cardstock scrap.
    • The word, Hello, from the retired Garden Birdhouses stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Silver Embossing Powder.
    • The sentiment was die-cut with the Circle die also from the Radiating Stitches Dies set.

All layers were adhered to the card base.  The sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals.  Several Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added for a bit of bling.

What a pretty floral die.  A friendly greeting card in a soft yellow tone.
