Earthen Textures – Thank You

Hi! Welcome back.  Working with this week’s Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#409) sketch. 

A delivery came yesterday…new stuff!

Having a play with the Earthen Elegance Suite (161518) of products which includes: Earthen Textures Stamp Set and coordinating Dies, Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper and a Natural Wavy Trim Ribbon. 

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Copper Clay cardstock.
  • The Slim Branch image was stamped across the top and bottom of the card front with Copper Clay ink.
  • The sentiment, Thank You, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
• Focal Panel: (4” x 3) Misty Moonlight Textured patterned piece of paper.
• Banners: In lieu of actual banners, I opted to add ribbon accents.  The retired Natural Finish Ribbon was wrapped diagonally around the Focal Panel.  Over that, I added two strips of the Natural Wavy Trim.
• Focal Image – Tall Vase and Stems: Naturals Terra Cotta patterned piece of paper and Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake cardstock scraps.
  • The Tall Vase was die-cut and trimmed down a little bit with Paper Snips.
  • Small notches were also added to the top edge of the Vase and Linen Thread was wrapped around the neck.
  • Two Branch Stems were die-cut and added to the Vase.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Focal Panel and the Vase were popped up with Dimensionals.

I think I am going to like working with this new Suite of products.  Such warm and inviting colors.  What a nice Thank You card.
