Lighting the Way – Father’s Day Card

Welcome back!

Another quick little CAS (Clean and Simple) card for a few more challenges.  Let the fun continue.

Paper Players (#641) CAS Single Image; Krafty Chicks (#664) CAS Anything Goes; and TGIF (#421) for a Masculine themed card.

Here is the result:

LIGHTING THE WAY – PP641 – KCC664 – TGIFC421

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The sentiment, Thanks for lighting the way, from the Lighting the Way stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
    • Using the (1⅜”) Circle Punch and Masking Paper, a Mask was created.
    • Using a Blending Brush and Lemon Lolly ink, a circle of color was added to the panel.
  • Focal Image – Lantern: Basic Black cardstock scrap die-cut with the Lantern Die from the coordinating Lighting the Way Dies set.

The Lantern was popped up over the Lemon Lolly colored circle with Dimensionals.
