Happy Thursday with a happy colored card!
Several challenges involving rainbows…Time Out (#238) Quote with highlighted words Rainbow and Gold; Inspiration Station (#49) May Day Rainbow colored Ribbons; and Color Dare (#547) with a swirl of Rainbow Colors. Bringing it all together, I chose the Freshly Made (#586) sketch.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the On-Line Exclusive Cross-Hatch Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
- Front Panel: (3¾” x 4½”) Rainbow Colored Diagonal Stripe patterned piece of paper from the retired Pattern Party Designer Series Paper pack.
- The right top and bottom corners were rounded using that feature of the retired Detailed Trio Punch.
- Vertical Strip: (⅝” x 5⅜”) Sweet Sorbet cardstock scrap also dry-embossed with the Cross-Hatch Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
- Sentiment Label: (2⅛” x 1⅝”) Basic Black cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, You are all kinds of Wonderful, from the Lighting Your Way stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
- The right top and bottom corners were also rounded to match the patterned paper.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals. For the touch of Gold, I added three Wild Wheat Dots from the 2023/2025 In-Color Dots collection.
A fun bright card suitable for many occasions.
