Mr. & Mrs. – Wedding Card

Welcome back!  Already Wednesday…where does the time go?

A quick pretty wedding card in soft colors for an early summer bride.

Challenges: Inspire Create (#142) to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) a card created by Tammy Fite.  I love the simple sketch layout and the beautiful On-Line Exclusives Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper choice. I opted for the Pinker and Greener colored sheet (even though there is a bit of Yellow included) to coordinate with Paper Players (#640) color suggestions to create a Wedding Card for Just Us Girls (#679).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
• Three Panel Cut: (3¾” x 5”) Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Soft Sea Foam and Daffodil Delight Floral patterned piece of paper from the Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper Pack.
  • Cut sizes: (2⅜” x 3⅜”), (1¼” x 3⅜”) and (3¾” x 1½”).
• Sentiment Label: Basic White cardstock scraps.
  • The retired sentiment stamp Mr. & Mrs. was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Black Embossing Powder.
  • A (1½”) Circle was punched to use as a guide for cutting around the Ampersand.
  • The sentiment was closely trimmed with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals.

I love how soft and delicate the patterned paper is and left it to be the true focal point of the Wedding card.
