A Note of Thanks – Pretty Daisies

Tuesday!  A Design Team Challenge for Hand Stamped Sentiments (#414) – Mood Board using the Sending Smiles stamp set…

I opted for the Just Add Ink (#652) sketch and the As You Can See It (#298) Recent Stash Addition(s).  I selected some of the new In-Color Products so I could play with the current Facebook Colour INKSpiration (#143) challenge and Ellibelle’s Crafty Wednesday (May) Anything Goes.

Here is the result:

SENDING SMILES – HSSIC414 – JAI652 – AYSI298 – CI143 – ECC May 2023

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Moody Mauve cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Vertical Strip: (2” x 4”) Moody Mauve Dash patterned piece of paper from the 2023/2025 In-Color Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Accent Circle: (2½” x 2½”) Pebbled Path cardstock scrap punched out with the retired (2½”) Circle Punch.
  • Focal Circle – Daisies: (2⅜” x 2⅜”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
    • The Floral Stem image was stamped with Pebbled Path ink.
    • The Full Daisy and Half Daisy images were stamped with Moody Mauve ink.
    • The Floral Center Images were stamped with Wild Wheat ink.
    • The completed image was punched out with the new (2⅜”) Circle Punch.
  • Sentiment Banner: (5¼” x ½”) Vellum cardstock scrap.
    • The sentiment, A Note of Thanks, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  Wild Wheat colored embellishments from the 2023/2025 In-Color Dots collection were added for a bit of bling.

Pretty and useful.  Always handy to have a stash of Thank You cards on hand.
