Under My Umbrella – Wonderful Moments

One last card for today…

Playing with Paper Players (#639); I Spy With My Little Eyes (#002); Use Your Stuff (#483) and the colors suggested by Just Us Girls (#678).  

Keeping it simple, here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Lemon Lolly cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Shimmery White cardstock.  All stamping was done with Basic Gray ink.
  • The Girl image from the retired Wonderful Moments stamp set was stamped.
  • Using a Ruler and the Stampin’ Write Marker, the Umbrella Handle was created.
  • The Umbrella image from the retired Under My Umbrella stamp set was lined up with the Umbrella Handle and stamped in place.
  • The Mini Floral Bouquet image from the Wonderful Moments stamp set was stamped onto the Umbrella.
  • The sentiment, Rain or Shine, from the Under My Umbrella stamp set was added.
  • The scene was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers: Dress and Umbrella Flowers – Both Light and Dark Bubble Bath, Floral Leaves – Light Granny Apple Green and Umbrella and Hair – Both Light and Dark Lemon Lolly.

The completed panel was adhered to the card base for a #simplestamping card.  Just Stamps, Inks and Paper.

A perfect Spring friendship card.
