I will be heading out for a little R&R with some friends. Glad for the break but will be happy when I get back in the Studio. Take care of yourselves and continue to be creative.
Challenges: Make My Monday (#199) for the theme; Sunday Stamps (#307) for the colors; and Try Stampin’ On Tuesday (#603) for the sketch and the optional theme.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Misty Moonlight cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Very Vanilla Circle Embossed cardstock from the retired Boho Indigo Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
- Cross Strips: (4” x ¾”) Very Vanilla and Misty Moonlight Leaf patterned piece of paper from the same Boho Indigo Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
- Focal Image – Flowers: Basic White cardstock scraps.
- The Base Flower image was stamped three times with the new Pink Bubble Bath ink.
- The Floral Detail image was stamped with 2nd Generation (stamped off once) Polished Pink ink.
- The Leaf image was stamped with Garden Green ink.
- All pieces were fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
- Sentiment: (2⅛” x ½”) Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, Thinking of you, from the Beautiful Thistle stamp set was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.
How pretty. I think I am going to like this new pink color, Bubble Bath and I am really happy Misty Moonlight is back.
