Fab Family Outing – Mom’s Birthday Present

Happy Sunday!  Hoping you will have some time to be creative today.

First up…Tic Tac Toe (#205) Board Diagonal: Cute, Family, Coloring; Choosing Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers for Seize the Birthday (#259) and the Creative Colour (#85) colors with the flipped Freshly Made (#582) Sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Crumb Cake cardstock.
• Accent: (3” x 4”) Soft Suede cardstock die-cut with the Open Fret die from the Chic Dies set for a Fishing Net impression.
• Large Shape – Focal image: (4½” x 3”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Family Fishing image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink as was the Flying Seagull image.
  • The scene was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Hair – Bronze, Skin – Ivory, Girl’s T-Shirt – Light Mint Macaron, Boy’s T-Shirt – Dark Mint Macaron, Dad’s T-Shirt – Light and Dark Real Red, Shorts – Light and Dark Crumb Cake, and Dock – Dark Crumb Cake.
  • The scene was die-cut with the (4¼” x 2⅜”) Stitched Hexagonal die from the retired Stitched Nested Labels Dies set.
• Small Shape – Sentiment – Real Red cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, It’s Going To Be Fab, from the Cottage Rose stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • The sentiment was die-cut with the (1¾”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shaped Dies set.
• Strip – Folded Ribbon: Basic White retired Flax Ribbon was added to the Sentiment Circle with a Stapler.

A cute family scene…a great gift to Mom…a whole day to herself!  It’s going to be Fabulous!!
