Love Bear – Count on Me

Tuesday!  Design Team Challenge for Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#404).

I chose a board line suggested by Tic Tac Toe (#204) and the word “Adorable” for the Alphabet Letter (A) to inspire my choices.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Crumb Cake cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Crumb Cake cardstock die-cut with the largest Rectangle die from the Deckled Rectangles Dies set.
  • The Panel was further die-cut with the (3¼” x 4½”) Stitched die from the Stitched with Whimsy Dies set.
  • The very cute and adorable Bear from the Count on Me stamp set was stamped with Soft Suede ink.
  • The Bear was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Bear Body – Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Snout – Light Crumb Cake and Heart – Dark Real Red.
  • The edges of the Panel were colored with Crumb Cake ink using a Small Blending Brush.
• Sentiment Flag: (2⅛” x 1”) Real Red cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Love knows no boundaries, from the Picturesque stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • The Flag shape was die-cut with one of the Stitched Banner dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

Both the Sentiment Flag and the Focal Panel were adhered to the card base.  Three Crumb Cake Enamel Dots Essentials were added to the Flag.

I am fond of this adorable animal.  Such a cute Bear.  I am sad that the Count on Me stamp set will be retiring.
