He’s All That – Father’s Day

Tuesday!  Design Team Challenges for Cardz 4 Guyz (#320) – Emboss and Hand Stamped Sentiments (#412) – Color.  I chose to create a Father’s Day card using the As You Can See It (#296) Sketch.  Let’s play!

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pool Party cardstock.
• Background Panel Overlay: (4” x 5¼”) Map Pattern – Vellum Layering Designs.
• Rectangle Panels: (1⅞” x 2¾”) Blackberry Bliss cardstock pieces dry-embossed with the On-Line Exclusive Cross-Hatch 3D Embossing Folder.
• Circle: (3”) Mint Macaron cardstock.
  • The sentiment, Wishing You a Happy Father’s Day, from the He’s All That stamp set was stamped into Versamark ink and then Blackberry Bliss ink.
  • The sentiment was then heat-set with Clear Embossing Powder for the Clear Color Embossing Technique.
  • The Circle was die-cut with the (3”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Focal Image – Camper Van: Laser Cut image found in the He’s The Man Designer Series Paper pack.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch with the sentiment on the lower section of the Circle die-cut and the Camper Van popped up with Dimensionals.

A happy  convergence of challenges to make a cool Father’s Day card.
