Framed Fern – Best Wishes

Welcome back!

Another CAS (Clean & Simple) card for you today.  Less Is More (#480) for the colors, Make My Monday (#198) for an idea and Happy Little Stampers (April) as I chose to use Dies.

Here is the result:

NATURE’S PRINTS – ICONIC DIES – STITCHED RECTANGLES DIES – LIM480 – MMM198 – HLS Dies April 2023

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The sentiment, Best Wishes & Happy Thoughts, from the Nature’s Prints stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • Accent Frames: (2⅝” x 4”) Tahitian Tide and Basic Black cardstock.
    • Two Stitched Rectangle Dies were nested to create the Frames.  Sized (2⅝” x 4”) and (2¼” x 3⅝”).
  • Focal Image – Ferns: Tahitian Tide and Basic Black cardstock,
    • From the remaining Stitched Rectangle Panels, the Fern images were die-cut with the Fern Die from the retired Iconic Dies set.

The card was assembled.

Black and White with a pop of color!  Always a great combination.  The Ferns are nicely framed.  Certainly, a great little gender-neutral card suitable for many occasions.

Thank you for spending some of your time with me today.   Cheers,  Jolanda!
