Anything Is Possible – Hand-Penned Memories & More

One last card and I am calling it a day.  Did you have a chance to be creative today?

Fun Fold Cards are generally not my go to.  However, over at Atlantic Hearts (#519), we are challenged to make a Step Card.

Cleaning up my Studio and getting ready for the new Stampin’ Up! Calendar year, I came across some wonderful, but now retired products. I challenged myself to create something with the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack and coordinating Cards & Envelopes.   I made a modified Faux Step Card.

I am sharing this card with Creatives Creases (#54) and Ellibelle’s April Crafty Wednesday.

I cut up an envelope to use as patterned paper and altered the size of the original card base.  Here is what I came up with:

Steps:

• Pool Party Dotted Card Base: (8½” x 6¼” scored at 4¼”) trimmed to (7” x 5½”) with (1½”) trimmed off the back side of the card.
  • The new card front was additionally scored at (¾”) and (1½”) retaining the original (4¼”) score line.
• Center Panel: (8½” x 4¼”) Pale Papaya card stock scored at (4¼”).
• Decoration: Envelope parts:
  • 1^st Step: (5½” x ¾”) trimmed Floral Envelope Flap.
  • Center Panel Accent Mat: (4” x 4”) trimmed Pale Papaya Striped Envelope Front.
• Sentiment Card: (4” x 3”) Anything is Possible Card trimmed down to (3¾” x 3”).

All pieces were adhered to create the Fun Fold Step Card.
