Painted Posies – Blank Greeting Card

Hi!  One more card for today…

A clean and simple Spring card for Addicted to CAS (#234) influenced by the Mood Board over at Inkspirational (#286) and the colors of the desserts at Inspired By (#232).  I opted for no sentiment because this card was so pretty and can be used for any occasion.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Cold Press 140 lb. Watercolor Paper.
• Focal Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Cold Press 140 lb. Watercolor Paper dry-embossed with the Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder.
  • The embossed image was water-colored with Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz and retired Regal Rose inks using the Fine-Tipped Water Painter Brush. 

Can’t be simpler.  The Focal Panel was popped up with Foam Adhesive Strips for a solid foundation.
