Beautiful Day – Graceful Tile

It has been a busy week.  Welcome back!  I have an elegant clean and simple card for you today for a few challenges.

Inspired By (#231) for Colors, Patterns and Sketch, Just Us Girls (#672) and Less Is More (#479).

Here is the result:

GRACEFUL TILES – VERY VERSAILLES – IB231 – JUGS472 – LIM479

Steps:

  • Card Base: (11” x 4¼” scored at 5½”) Basic White Thick cardstock.
    • The Fan Style Tile image from the Graceful Tiles stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Copper Embossing Powder.
    • With the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker, a few details in the Tile were colored.
    • The sentiment, Have a Beautiful Day, from the retired Very Versailles stamp set was also stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Copper Embossing Powder.

And that is it!  Using the sketch for design position and the patterned tile as a decorative element with the copper / black / white colors of the eggs in the photograph, the stamped image is less than 1/3 of the space with no additional layers. Just stamps, ink paper and a bit of heat = simple stamping.

Celebrating Easter?  I hope you Have a Beautiful Day.

Thank you for spending some of your time with me today.   Cheers,  Jolanda!
