Having a play with a few more challenges before I get ready for Wednesday’s class…
Inspire Create (#138) to use the card created by Karen Farquhar as an inspiration springboard. The items chosen: Layout, Patterned Paper, Embossed Panel, Pansies, Tag Sentiment and Ribbon.

The colors were chosen from the Color Dare (#539) Tic Tac Toe Board: Stampin’ Up! Blushing Bride (for Flamingo), So Saffron (for Honey Butter) and Wisteria Wonder (for Wisteria).

I am also sharing this card with Tic Tac Toe (#200) for Pastels, Flowers and a Spring theme and Facebook Group Joy of Sets for the Spring Floral Mood Board.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Blushing Bride cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Left Panel: (1¾” x 5⅛”) Blushing Bride Floral Chain patterned piece of paper from the retired Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper pack.
- Right Panel: (2¼” x 5⅛”) So Saffron cardstock dry-embossed with the Leaf patterned retired Meadow Moments Embossing Folder.
- Accent Strip: (¼” x 5⅛”) Gold Metallic Specialty Paper.
- Focal Image – Pansy Trio: Three Pansies, Yellow, Pink and Purple were fussy-cut from one of the patterned papers from the retired Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper pack.
- Sentiment Tag: (2⅛” x ¾”) Basic White cardstock scraps.
- The sentiment, You’ve always been there for me…, from the Beside Me stamp set was stamped with retired Wisteria Wonder ink.
- The sentiment was die-cut with one of the smaller Tag dies from the Tailor Made Tags Dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch which was flipped to the vertical position. A small Bow was tied with the Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon and added to the Sentiment Tag and tucked in under the Pansies which were popped up with Dimensionals.
A lovely Spring Bouquet to thank and celebrate your mother or any special woman who has influenced your life.

Oh my, I love your pancies and you really selected great colors to display them on your card. Another flower my mom would plant along the border of her flower gardens with such a variety of colors. I could see faces on the flowers and they made me happy. Thanks for sharing your beautiful card with us at Color Dare.
