Jolly Gingerbread – Framed & Festive

Welcome back!  Round Two with Sketch Saturday (#721) including the option of using an embossing folder flipped to the horizontal position for Jingle Belles – Cardstock Christmas and Happy Little Stampers Christmas including Candy Canes.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Shaded Spruce cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Shaded Spruce cardstock dry-embossed with the new Cross-Hatch Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
• Ribbon Strip: (¾” x 5½”) Sweet Sorbet cardstock scrap dry-embossed with the retired Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder.
• Square One: Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment/greeting, FROM OUR home TO yours, from the retired Framed & Festive stamp set was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink and die-cut with the (2⅜” x 2⅜”) Stitched Square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Square Two: Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
  • The Gingerbread House image from the Jolly Gingerbread Paper Pumpkin – November 2020 Kit was stamped with Early Espresso ink.
  • The image was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers:  House – Light Soft Suede; Windows – Light Mango Melody; Door and Trim – Dark Shaded Spruce; Candy Cane Trim – Light Sweet Sorbet.
  • The image was die-cut with the same sizedStitched Square die.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  Merry Christmas.
