A Classic Birthday

One last deadline for today…another color challenge.  This one is for Just Us Girls (#669).

The colors felt very masculine to me, and we always need guy cards.  I selected the sketch from Tuesday Morning (#698) and to use dies for the cut shapes and therefore chose to also share the card with Happy Little Stampers (March) Dies challenge.

Here is the result:

HE’S ALL THAT BUNDLE – JUGS669 – TMS698 – HLS Dies March 2023

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Crushed Curry cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic Gray cardstock
  • Shapes – Diamond Argyle: Crushed Curry, Basic Black and Coastal Cabana cardstock scraps.
    • The Diamond Argyles were die-cut with one of the dies from the All That Dies set.
  • Circle Accent Mat: (2⅜”) Basic Gray cardstock scrap die-cut with one of the Circle dies from the retired Stitched Shapes Dies set.
  • Sentiment Scallop Circle: (2”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
    • The Happy Birthday to a Classic sentiment from the He’s All That stamp set was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink and then die-cut with the coordinating Scallop Circle die also from the All That Dies set.

The Diamond Argyles were adhered to the Background Panel mimicking the pattern suggested by the sketch and the Sentiment Medallion was popped up with Dimensionals.

What a fun guy’s birthday card!
