Welcome back! Design team time for Hand Stamped Sentiments (#408) for a great color challenge.

Sketch: Over at Stampin’ Up! Only (#320), the suggestion was to CASE (Copy and Share Everything) one of the card samples from page 5 of the Sale-a-bration Brochure and I chose the bottom card.

CAS (Clean and Simple) Style Cards and Themes: CAS on Friday (#251) – Flowers; Paper Players (#628) – Get Well; and Festive Friday (#128) for Sentiment, Technique, and Materials.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Case Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White Thick cardstock.
- Background Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the Stitched Greenery Die for the Leafy Pattern.
- Focal Panel: (3½” x 3½”) Basic White cardstock.
- Using Blending Brushes, Balmy Blue ink was added to the top diagonally and Old Olive ink was added to the bottom diagonally to suggest grass and sky.
- The Blended Panel was die-cut with the (2¾” x 2¾”) Stitched Square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
- Floral Stems from the Wildflower Path stamp set were added to the Panel with Old Olive ink.
- Flowers, also from the same stamp set, were added to the Floral Stems with Flirty Flamingo ink.
- The sentiment, Feel Better, Friend, from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set was added to the top corner with Balmy Blue ink.
- Ribbon Elements: Whisper White Flax Ribbon (retired) and Old Olive Linen Twine (retired) from my stash.
- The Whisper White Flax Ribbon was colored with the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend Marker.
The Flirty Flamingo colored ribbon was folded over and added to the top left edge as a tab and the panel was popped up with Dimensionals on the stitched background panel. The double Old Olive Linen Thread bow was added to the bottom right corner.
