Scenic Garden – Beautifully Happy

How about a real clean and simple, simple stamping card?  Just Stamp, Ink and Paper!  This month, Stampin’ Up! has challenged us with #Simplestamping using Sale-a-bration products.  This time around I am using the Scenic Garden and Beautifully Happy stamp sets that can be earned for free until the end of February.

Inspired by: CAS Colours and Sketches (#504) for Style and Color; Stampin’ Up! Simple Stamping (February); and TGIF (#408) Play with your Sale-a-bration goodies.

Here is the result:

SCENIC GARDEN – BEAUTIFULLY HAPPY – CC&S504 – #simplestamping – TGIFC408

Steps:

  • Case Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Shimmery White cardstock.
  • Focal Panel: (5” x 3¾”) Shimmery White cardstock.
    • The Holly Hocks image from the Scenic Garden stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
    • Allowing for a bit of drying time, Balmy Blue ink was added over the image with the Small Blending Brush.
    • Using Light Sweet Sorbet and Dark Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers, the Holly Hocks were colored.
    • The sentiment, Sending Happy Thoughts, from the Beautifully Happy stamp set was added with Balmy Blue ink.

And we are done!  The Focal Panel was added to the card base using Dimensionals.

A beautiful image rendered so simply can make a very attractive card.
