Sentimental Park – Best Wishes

Welcome back!  Class is over and today we made this card which I designed for Inspire, Create (#135) and Color Dare (#533) using the Sentimental Park stamp set.  The ladies thought it was quite nice. 

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pool Party cardstock (for Glacier)
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock (for Linen).
  • The Floral Cluster Outline image was stamped in the lower left with Pool Party ink.
  • The Panel was dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder for a linen look.
• Top Rectangle: (2¼” x 2½”) Vellum.
• Cross Strip: (4” x 1¼”) Petal Pink (for Nectarine) patterned piece of paper from the Free Sale-a-bration Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper pack.
• Circle Shape: (2½”) Pool Party cardstock scrap die-cut with one of the Stitched Circle dies from the Stylish Shaped Dies set.
• Focal Image – Floral Cluster: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The Floral Cluster Outline image was stamped with Tahitian Tide (for Capri).
  • The Floral Cluster Two-Step In-Fill image was stamped with Pool Party ink.
  • The Floral Cluster was die-cut with the coordinating die from the Sentimental Park Dies set.
• Sentiment Label: Tahitian Tide cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Best Wishes, was stamped with Tahitian Tide ink.
  • The sentiment was trimmed closely with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and the Flowers were popped up with Dimensionals.  Completing the card, Petal Pink colored Fine Sparkle Gems from my stash were added.

A very soft and pretty card.
