You’re So Fly – Be My Valentine

Happy Sunday and a very quick clean and simple card for you this morning.  Playing with the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge (#503).

I just love that cute little Chameleon and I felt like he was the perfect image for the color scheme.

Here is the result:

BE MY VALENTINE PAPER PUMPKIN JAN 2019 – CC&S503 – 2CCCB71

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The two sentiment stamps, You’re So Fly and You’re One-In-A-Chameleon, from the January 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Be My Valentine stamp set were stamped along the right edge with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • Focal Image – Chameleon: Basic White cardstock scrap.
    • The Chameleon and Fly image was also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and water-colored with So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Polished Pink ink (for Barely Banana, Pretty in Pink and Rose Red) using the Fine-Tipped Water Painter Brush.
    • The Chameleon was fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

The Chameleon and his friend, the Fly image was popped up with Dimensionals, completing the sweet appreciation card.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.   Cheers,  Jolanda!

  1. How creative to use a chameleon to demonstrate the challenge colours- it works perfectly!! The sentiments you chose to use were brilliant too and really made me chuckle. Thank you so much for sharing with us at CC&S ❤
