Welcome back! Happy Friday.
Creating for a few challenges with impending deadlines. A quick gender-neutral birthday card for Paper Players (#625), Sunday Stamps (#301), Just Add Ink (#638) and Seize The Birthday (#254).
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Case Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Blackberry Bliss cardstock.
- Background: (4” x 5¼”) Fresh Freesia Dotted patterned piece of paper from the free Sale-a-bration Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper pack.
- The word, Celebrate, from the retired Create with Friends stamp set was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.
- Decoration – Candles: Various Purple toned cardstock scraps from my Bin were die-cut with the Candle dies from the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies set and matched together. The Flame die, also from the same set, was die-cut from a scrap of Calypso Coral cardstock.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. I like clean and simple cards especially for guys and this one works really well.

I’ve never been partial to purples but I do love the idea of an ink color namend Blackberry. Puts a whole new spin on the hue. This is just lovely Jolanda. Thanks so much for playing along with us at the Seize the Birthday challenge blog!
