A quick card for the Paper Players (#624) clean and simple Bird theme.
A favorite bird, the wren, from the retired Nature Walk stamp set was selected for this challenge.
Here is the result:

Steps:
- Case Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Soft Suede cardstock.
- Focal Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
- In the collage style, the Bird, Flower, Butterfly and Bee were stamped with Soft Suede ink.
- The Vintage Type Words image from the new Queen Bee stamp set was also added with 2nd Generation (stamped off once) Soft Suede ink.
- Using the (2½ x 4”) sized die from the Deckled Rectangles Dies set, the center was cut.
- Crumb Cake ink was added to the die-cut with a Brayer.
- Two additional same-sized die-cuts were created and all three were stacked together and added back to the center, creating a bit of height.
A few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added for a bit of sparkle. A no greeting blank note card celebrating Happy Bird Day…

Jolanda, Your card is lovely. I love the monochromatic look. It is a technique I struggle with. Your bird-day card works great for our CAS challenge. Thanks for joining The Paper Players this week. Suzy
