Just one more card…one last challenge deadline! Black and White, anyone?
The Challenges: Just Us Girls (#663), Colorful Options (January), Stampin’ Up! Only (#318) and bringing it all together, Tuesday Morning Sketches (692).
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Case Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- The sentiment, To a wonderful friend, from the Amazing Year stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Black Embossing Powder.
- Off-Kilter Background Panel: Black and White Cross patterned piece of paper from the retired All Together Designer Series Paper pack.
- Focal Image – Envelope with Flowers: Basic White cardstock scraps.
- The Floral Envelope image was also stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Black Embossing Powder.
- The Envelope was colored with the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend Marker.
- The image was fussy cut with Paper Snips.
- Right Side Decoration: Flat White Dots (retired) from my stash were added to the edge of the patterned paper.
Always a fan of Black and White. This is a very simple stamped card. Just Stamp, Ink and Paper.
A great little friendship card.

What a beautiful card, Jolanda! I never gave the Full of Love stamp set a second glance in the catalog, but I’ve seen SO MANY beautiful cards with it, it’s a total sleeper set and I think I have to get it now 🙂 Great job with the black and white challenge, and love your take on the sketch as well.
