Warmest Wishes – Fresh Cut Flowers

Welcome back!  Today, I am working through a number of challenge deadlines.  Not sure I will get them all done before the Thanksgiving Holidays…but I will try.

Back to a clean and simple style for Less Is More (#477) to choose two or more colors from the Color Wheel.  I opted for Yellow and Blue so I could play with the current Color Dare (#522) suggestions.

Here is the result:

FRESH CUT FLOWERS – THROUGH IT TOGETHER – LIM477 – CD522

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Accent Strips: (5½” x 1”) Pool Party and So Saffron cardstock scraps.
    • The sentiment, warmest wishes, from the Through it Together stamp set was stamped on the Pool Party strip with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
    • All three strips were dry-embossed with the retired Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Focal Image Panel: (5½” x 2”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The Poppy image from the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with both the Light and Dark So Saffron (for Honey Butter) and Pool Party (for Glacier) Stampin’ Blends Markers.

All the elements were arranged on the card base to highlight the pretty floral image.
