Forever Friendship – Thank You

Welcome to the Cardz 4 Guyz (#309) challenge launching today!

I selected the colors from the monthly Facebook Stampin’ Up! Colour Challenge for November and decided to create a Fun Fold card for Creative Creases (#45) and The Male Room (#168).

Let the fun begin!  This is what I made: 

Steps:

• Card Base: (11” x 5½” scored at 4”, 5¾”, 7½” and 9¼”) Starry Sky cardstock for a “W” fold.
• Decorative Panels: (1½” x 5¼”) Color Collections Designer Series Paper packs: 2022/2024 In-Color – Starry Sky, Neutrals – Gray Granite and Brights – Mango Melody along with a Basic White cardstock cut to (4½” x 5¼”)
  • (1¼” x 6”) Strips of the Striped patterned pieces of paper were cut.
  • The strips were adhered diagonally on the Basic White cardstock panel.
  • The covered Panel was trimmed and then cut into three (1½” x 5¼”) panels.
  • The Decorative Panels were then adhered to the three forward sections of the “W” fold.
• “V” Fold Base: (6” x 3” scored at 3”) Starry Sky cardstock.
• “V” Fold Front Image Panel: (2⅞” x 2⅞”) Gray Granite Striped patterned piece of paper.
  • The Typewriter image from the Forever Friendship stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
• “V” Fold Inside Image Panel: (2⅞” x 2⅞”) Mango Melody Striped patterned piece of paper.
  • The Potted Plants image stamp set was stamped the same way as above.

• Greeting Panel: (2⅞” x 2⅞”) Gray Granite Striped patterned piece of paper.
  • The sentiment, I just can’t thank you enough, from the same stamp set was also stamped the same way as above.
• The “V” Fold Panel was positioned and adhered to the card base completing the Fun Fold.

Great colors for a masculine card and a fun way to say Thank You by creating a 3D effect fold.
