Welcome back! It was a busy day. Had my Saturday class and just found a bit of time to create this CAS – clean and simple Thank you card.
Knocking off a few challenges: AAA Cards (#226) for the sketch and theme; Less Is More (#476) for the use of stencils; Addicted to CAS (#231) for layering, Time Out (#225) for the theme and Creative Colour (#59) for the color choice.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Focal Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Patterns from several Decorative Masks Collections were selected, layered, masked with Masking Paper, and colored with Sponge Daubers. Diamond: Melon Mambo ink with retired Pattern Party, Four Square: Granny Apple Green ink with retired Adorning Designs, and Floral: Cherry Cobbler ink with Artistic Mix.
- The word, Thanks, from the Biggest Wish stamp set was stamped with Granny Apple Green ink.
And that was that. It is fun to play with stencils. I am happy I had a chance to use them to create this very minimalist clean and simple Thank You card.
